Campus Gandia of the UPV to Showcase its Research in a Conference

Campus Gandia of the Universitat Politècnica de València wants to continue strengthening its research after reaching historic levels in its scientific output last year. To this end, it will host the Explora RDI Conference to present many of the research lines being developed on the campus. It will take place on Thursday, February 22nd from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm in Conference Room 1.

Prize Winner Announced for 1st IVIO-UPV Chair Award for Best Bachelor’s or Master’s Thesis

A winner has been chosen for the first edition of the IVIO-UPV Chair Awards for the best Bachelor’s or Master’s Thesis (TFG/TFM, for the Spanish initials). The jury, made up of university professors in the field and representatives from the IVIO Valencian Institute of Dental Research, has ruled in favor of Anderson Ladino and his Master’s Thesis entitled “Ultrasonic Monitoring of the Guided Bone Regeneration Process in Dental Implantology”.

Over 30 Activities Bring Science Closer to Young People


Science and Society Science Week


The CEIC Alfons el Vell, alongside the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and the Universitat de València (UV) have organized Science Week in Gandia. The educational event, aimed at students in their final year of primary school, secondary school or baccalaureate, will be held November 6 -10, 2017. The Doctoral Thesis by Researcher Noé Jiménez Receives Excellence Award

The Campus Gandia graduate, Dr. Noé Jiménez, obtained the highest absolute score in the Extraordinary Doctorate Awards scale 2017 granted by the Universitat Politècnica de València for his doctoral thesis entitled “Nonlinear Acoustic Waves in Complex Media“, supervised by researcher professors Javier Redondo and Francisco Camarena from Gandia. Jiménez holds degrees in Telecommunication Systems, Sound and Image Engineering and in Audiovisual Communication from the Campus of Gandia, where he also completed his Master’s Degree in Acoustic Engineering, as well as his doctoral thesis.
