Where we were able to develop a synchronous distributed Virtual Reality (VR) environment. The IVIO-UPV Chair Places High-Stakes Bet on Ultrasound in Oral Implantology


IVIO-UPV Chair Technology


An ambitious research project, based on the application of ultrasound in oral implantology, will be the centerpiece of the IVIO-UPV Chair. The bone density analysis project using ultrasound as a diagnostic tool will help in planning implant surgery. Its implementation is expected to improve the biological process of direct connection between the bone and the implant, known as osseointegration.

New Technologies to Help Improve Dentistry

No one likes going to the dentist, but we all love to smile and have other people smile back. Having bright and healthy teeth that give you the confidence to smile or laugh out loud is the aim of the IVIO-UPV Chair, the new partnership agreement between the Universitat Politècnica de València and the company, Biocenosis. The initiative, which is valid for at least one year and renewable, is ascribed to the Campus Gandia of the UPV and its director is Francisco Camarena, Professor in the Department of Applied Physics.
