The IVIO Chair of Campus Gandia of the Universitat Politècnica de València is set to hold its fourth symposium titled “Interdisciplinary Dentistry and New Technologies”. The new and long-awaited edition is targeted at dental professionals and all those interested, with the aim of showcasing innovative research and techniques that are transforming oral implantology and periodontics.
The event will be held on Friday, April 26 at Campus Gandia of the UPV. All those interested can register and consult the full agenda in the the IVIO-UPV Chair directory and on the UPV Permanent Training Center page.

This adds to the roster of other events held here, such as the Dentsply Sirona Workflows Gandia 2022 and 2023 or the XLIX Meeting of the Center for Odontostomatological Studies (CEOE) in 2021.

The IVIO-UPV Chair takes part in “Bring a Female Scientist to School”
As part of February 11, International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Equality Committee of Campus Gandia has organized the initiative “Bring a Female Scientist to School”. This project was sponsored by the IVIO-UPV Chair and it has dedicated the month to bringing the work of women scientists and technicians to primary and secondary school classrooms and familiarize the students with these professions through activities led by women who work in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
This project highlights female figures who have changed or are changing the world to demonstrate that science and technology have no gender. The backing of the Chair ties in with its overall dissemination objective, which has also been evident in projects such as the sponsorship of the latest editions of Campus Gandia Science Week, or its participation in the CosmoCaixa ultrasound exhibition in 2022.
