The “Safor Salut” cooperation program, a joint initiative between Campus Gandia of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), FISABIO-Gandia Department of Health, FISABIO-HACLE La Pedrera and the Safor Federation of Business Associations (FAES, for its Spanish initials), has organized a co-creation lab at Gandia Hospital to develop jointly together artificial intelligence applications in the field of neurological diseases.
This challenge was proposed by Campus Gandia (UPV) researcher, Salva Ardid, as related to the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of neurological diseases using artificial intelligence (AI).
The aim of this session was to develop the idea, in cooperation with all the partners in Safor Salut, with the ultimate goal of generating innovative projects.
Representatives from Fisabio, Campus Gandia (UPV), the Safor Federation of Business Associations (FAES), the departments Neurology and Neurophysiology at Gandia Hospital have actively participated in this work session. In addition, the Alzheimer’s Family Organization of the Safor (AFA La Safor) and the Parkinson’s Association of Gandia were present at the session.
INNOVATION AND HEALTHCARE CHALLENGES
The co-creation labs are especially focused on cases that require the participation of other institutions to develop and carry out ideas or challenges. These labs bring together people with different profiles to analyze situations, generating divergence, proposing ways to take part in the development and different possible solution that ultimately define the collaborative research or innovation project.
