UniSalut: Gandia Creativity Workshop and 2024 Application Call

Campus Gandia of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) played a key role in organizing and developing the 4th Creativity and Idea Generation Workshop at the Francesc de Borja University Hospital in Gandia. Organized in collaboration with the Fisabio Foundation, Universitat Jaume I (UJI), and Miguel Hernández University (UMH), this event aimed to promote innovation in the healthcare sector.

The primary objective of the workshop was to unite healthcare professionals and university researchers to share their research lines, fostering the generation of innovative project ideas for submission in the UniSalut 2024 application call. This initiative has been crucial in strengthening collaboration among the various entities, ensuring that project proposals are robust and relevant.

The workshop employed structured creativity techniques to guide participants in exploring new ideas and approaches in an organized and effective manner. Attendees from various disciplines engaged in group dynamics to collaborate effectively. In the initial phase, participants presented ideas to work on during the workshop. Subsequently, interdisciplinary groups refined these proposals to enhance their viability.

At the conclusion of the workshop, each group had the opportunity to present their findings and projects to the other participants. These presentations not only facilitated the sharing of generated ideas but also provided valuable feedback to enhance and solidify the projects. The event was a resounding success, yielding 9 innovative project ideas.

The participants highlighted the significance of these collaborative spaces in fostering synergies across diverse research areas. The interaction and knowledge exchange among researchers from diverse disciplines are crucial for fostering collaborative research and advancing health innovation.
