On the last week of each month we will share news regarding the Science and Research on the Campus. The news will form part of the <strong>#UPVGANDIACIENCIA<\/strong> section. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that <strong>Telegrafies enters its 9th season<\/strong> in 2015 and that it has dedicated the last five years to the active <strong>promotion and dissemination of<\/strong> <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>research<\/strong> taking place in our University in <a title=\"Telegrafies, Bringing You Science for Five Years\" href=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/2015\/02\/telegrafies-bringing-you-science-for-five-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a number of different ways<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Telegrafies UPV Gandia Ciencia News. February:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>1- New system helps to reduce the costs of industrial and street lighting by up to 40% <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">Campus Gandia and the company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.venalsol.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venalsol<\/a> have developed, patented and commenced commercial production of a new energy module which will allow an energy savings of up to 40% on industrial and street lighting. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upv.es\/noticias-upv\/noticia-7232-simbiosis-unive-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Telegrafies 9x01\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/axpwBkDhtos?start=383&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>2- Orange tree prunings for improved soundproofing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">A team of researchers from Campus Gandia and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.udg.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Girona<\/a> have successfully developed a new type of plasterboard made from orange tree prunings that improve soundproofing by up to 150% as compared to conventional plasterboard.
