The practice of dentistry today is vastly different from what it was twenty years ago. This transformation extends to the patient’s experience, with benefits including less invasive and far more efficient treatments. Technological advancements have driven remarkable progress in dentistry, creating an unstoppable momentum and opening up a future filled with possibilities for enhancing treatments, surgeries, and patient care.<\/p>\n

The IV Symposium of the IVIO Chair at the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia, held on April 26 at Campus Gandia of the UPV<\/a>, provided professionals and students with insights into cutting-edge techniques and research poised to revolutionize oral implantology and periodontics. A dynamic gathering that delved into the vast potential of technology applied across the dental sector, explored through a multidisciplinary lens.<\/p>\n

The daylong event unfolded over the course of three distinct segme<\/strong>nts. The initial two segments explored advancements in the integration of new technologies across multidisciplinary dentistry, while the third segment showcased a roundtable discussion on intraoral scanners and presentations highlighting the latest advance<\/strong>ments in cosmetic dentistry. <\/strong>The symposium commenced with an inaugural address by Jes\u00fas Alba, Director of Campus Gandia at UPV, and Joan Faus<\/a>, Director of the Valencian Institute of Dental Research (IVIO)<\/a>, presided as the moderator for the speakers.<\/p>\n

Francisco Camarena<\/a>, Director of the IVIO-UPV Chair, concluded the presentation. The remaining speakers were seasoned professionals with extensive expertise in both the practical and research aspects of dentistry.
