To attract multidisciplinary talent in the health sector, the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV) is collaborating with the Gandia City Council to host the II Edition of Campus Salud Gandia<\/a> (Gandia Health Campus<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s a university hackathon designed to motivate and inspire students from any discipline and university, along with anyone keen on innovation in health, well-being, and entrepreneurship<\/strong>,” said Jos\u00e9 Millet<\/a>,t, professor at UPV and organizer of the hackathon.<\/p>\n

The event was introduced at the Campus Gandia\u00a0 orum by Jes\u00fas Alba, Director at Campus Gandia, alongside Jos\u00e9 Pelegr\u00ed, Secretary at Campus Gandia, Jose Manuel Prieto, Mayor of Gandia, Jos\u00e9 Millet, the event’s organizer within the framework of EIT Health, and Pilar S\u00e1nchez<\/a> and Amparo Estruch<\/a> from Safor Salut-Campus Gandia.<\/p>\n

30 Uninterrupted Hours of Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n

On May 3rd and 4th<\/strong>, immerse yourself in a blend of learning, teamwork, and enjoyment<\/strong> as you tackle a real-world challenge in health and well-being. Guided by top specialists in ChatGPT, AI animation, no-Code technology, creativity, innovation, and business models, you’ll embark on an exciting journey of problem-solving and skill development. Enrich your journey further with exclusive training sessions designed to nurture and enhance your project’s development.<\/p>\n

Experience two unforgettable days filled with music, engaging activities, hands-on training, expert mentors, and everything you need for an enriching and dynamic experience. There will also be numerous prizes and gifts awaiting all participants, adding an extra layer of excitement and reward to the experience.<\/p>\n

Hospital U. Francesc de Borja de Gandia plays a pivotal role in the preparation and execution of the hackathon. They contribute by shaping challenges, compiling essential documentation, and providing crucial data for the competition..<\/p>\n

Taking part in the Campus Salud Gandia offers you the chance to join a dedicated network of professionals and companies united in their mission to enhance healthcare<\/strong>. Moreover, you’ll gain access to educational capsules designed to support the development of your project. From igniting ideas to mastering artificial intelligence tools and delivering impactful presentations, this event is crafted to elevate your creativity and expertise in the realm of health and wellness.<\/p>\n

In the inaugural edition<\/a>, we welcomed 114 participants, primarily consisting of undergraduate and double degree students, alongside individuals pursuing master’s degrees, doctorates, and other advanced education pathways. 62 of them moved through the different stages of the Hackathon. Among the participating universities, approximately 60% were affiliated with UPV (with representation from all three campuses: Vera, Gandia, and Alcoi), while over 21% hailed from Carlos III University of Madrid.<\/p>\n
