{"id":18124,"date":"2023-10-10T15:57:17","date_gmt":"2023-10-10T13:57:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/?p=18124"},"modified":"2024-05-13T17:58:57","modified_gmt":"2024-05-13T15:58:57","slug":"safor-salut-secures-more-funding-continue-promoting-healthcare-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/2023\/10\/safor-salut-secures-more-funding-continue-promoting-healthcare-innovation\/","title":{"rendered":"Safor Salut Secures More Funding to Continue Promoting Healthcare Innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/saforsalut.es\/\">Safor Salut<\/a>\u2019 cooperation program, an initiative coordinated in 2023 by the<a href=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/\"> Campus Gandia of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.upv.es\/contenidos\/CGANDIA\/index-en.html\">UPV<\/a>) together with <a href=\"http:\/\/fisabio.san.gva.es\/en\/inicio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fisabio<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/gandia.san.gva.es\/portada\">Gandia Health Department<\/a>, \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fisabio.san.gva.es\/en\/inicio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fisabio-<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/lapedrera.san.gva.es\/portada\">HACLE La Pedrera<\/a> and the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.faesafor.com\/es\/\"> Federation of Business Associations de la Safor (FAES, for its Spanish initials<\/a>), has acquired <strong>86,954 euros in funding from the Program of Complementary Actions to Promote and Strengthen Innovation from the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI, for its Spanish initials),<\/strong> to develop innovation projects in 2023, 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSafor Salut\u201d launched in 2019 with the initial aim of <strong>bringing together the healthcare, business and university sectors to learn about their corresponding needs and generate joint innovation projects<\/strong> and business opportunities in healthcare at the regional level, using the <em>Open Innovation<\/em> strategy through collaborative methodologies. In 2021 and 2022 the program was expanded by incorporating the social component in the projects and ideas generated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6kMGk8CJkT4?si=mDS8zEu6P1k94vXQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Safor Salut team made a positive assessment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/2023\/02\/safor-salut-closes-2022-with-positive-results\/\">results obtained in 2022<\/a> and in 2023 they have continued work on the main lines of action to be carried out in the coming years, focusing on <strong>Primary Care<\/strong> and the incorporation of new social and business partners to enhance the impact of the program.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/categoria\/safor-salut-en\/\">various actions<\/a> have been carried to <strong>promote the creation of new collaborative innovation projects<\/strong> between the agents involved, which include the Foundation for Health Research in the La Safor region (AISSA), the Spanish Cancer Association of Gandia , the Association Diagnosis of he Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Association of Gandia and the La Safor (DIFFAC.GANDIA), the Espurna Foundation, he Parkinson&#8217;s Association of Gandia-Safor, the Alzheimer&#8217;s Family Association of the Safor (AFA La Safor), the Association of Municipalities of La Safor and the Gandia City Council, the Gandia City Council, as well as the<strong> incorporation of 3 new collaborators into the program<\/strong>: Digital District Comunitat Valenciana, Network of Technological Institutes Comunitat Valenciana (REDIT) and Business Confederation of the Comunitat Valenciana (CEV).<\/p>\n<p>With this new funding impetus, the program plans to organize <strong>technology pills<\/strong> focusing on technologies with high impact potential in the healthcare sector, as well as subsequent <strong>co-creation workshops<\/strong> to stimulate project proposals to drive innovations in the health sector.
