Francesc de Borja de Gandia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The conference connected the healthcare, technology, business sectors, with associations of patients or people affected and city councils, both in person and online, to promote the proposal of innovative projects in the healthcare industry.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IMTp_vmDZQY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe conference dealt with the protocols for creating a custom-made prosthesis or implant, available technology for development and monitoring, materials, treatments, required certifications, and first hand accounts of ideas for new projects and success cases were offered.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 1px solid #CCC; border-width: 1px; margin-bottom: 5px; max-width: 100%;\" src=\"\/\/www.slideshare.net\/slideshow\/embed_code\/key\/2cvW5HlTclbica\" width=\"595\" height=\"485\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"> <\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Experts from various fields took part in the event. Francesc de Borja de Gandia, presented a development project carried out in collaboration with the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia, a mixed reality application that improves precision in hip prosthesis implants.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17308\" src=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Foto-Mifsut.jpg-copia.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Foto-Mifsut.jpg-copia.jpg 640w, https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Foto-Mifsut.jpg-copia-600x188.jpg 600w, https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Foto-Mifsut.jpg-copia-150x47.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next, Joan Faus, head of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/\">ivio-Campus Gandia Chair<\/a> (UPV), spoke about the chair&#8217;s activities and an <a href=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/en\/2022\/09\/marc-oller-ivio-upv-chair-develops-an-augmented-reality-app-for-dental-implantology\/\">application<\/a> developed, the augmented reality app for the placement of dental implants.
