UniSalut<\/strong><\/a> is a joint collaboration program between 4 actors within the Valencian research and innovation system: PUniversitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV), Universitat Jaume I (UJI), Miguel Hernandez University (UMH) and the Fundaci\u00f3 per al Foment de la Investigaci\u00f3 Sanit\u00e0ria i Biomedical Institute of the Valencian Community (FISABIO). In particular, the subprogram between the UPV and FISABIO is called Polisabio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of UniSalut is to stimulate and promote the implementation of Preparatory Actions and Innovation Projects<\/strong> in which research staff from the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH), Universitat Jaume I (UJI), and the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV) participate jointly, with a special focus on the Gandia Campus<\/strong> and the Alcoi Campus. It also focuses specifically on personnel from the accredited centers affiliated to the Fundaci\u00f3 per al Foment de la Investigaci\u00f3 Sanit\u00e0ria i Biom\u00e8dica de la Comunitat Valenciana (FISABIO), particularly from the Health Departments of Vinar\u00f2s, Castell\u00f3, La Plana, Sagunt, Requena, Valencia-Arnau de Vilanova-Ll\u00edria, Valencia-Doctor Peset, La Ribera, X\u00e0tiva-Ontinyent, Alcoi, Elda, Gandia, Marina Baixa, Sant Joan d’Alacant, Elx General Hospital, Elx-Crevillent, Torrevieja, Orihuela, as well as FISABIO-Public Health, CV Transfusion Center, San Vicente Hospital, La Pedrera Hospital, Doctor Moliner Hospital, Pare Jofr\u00e9 Hospital, La Magdalena Hospital and FISA BIO-Medical Ophthalmology.<\/p>\n

This program aims to bring about synergies between the research staff and professionals from Fisabio, UPV, UJI and UMH<\/strong>, that will then give rise to research and innovation projects with great scientific-technical potential oriented towards innovative topics that will attract public and private investment in national and international calls of interest.<\/p>\n

The 1st edition of the UniSalut program, Polisabio subprogram, has decided to launch 12 preparatory actions and 4 innovation projects that combine scientific knowledge and the most innovative technologies at the service of health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For Jes\u00fas Alba, <\/strong>director of Campus Gandia<\/strong>, this joint endeavor will increase the quality of life of people, since the projects aim to solve real health needs.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The UPV-FISABIO Partnership Program (Polisabio) was launched in 2017 with the aim of bring about synergies and stimulating new collaborations between researchers from the UPV and the staff of the Valencian Community Health Departments affiliated with FISABIO. The program was originally developed for the Alcoy and Gandia campuses, and the local hospitals. The program for 2018 was extended to the Vera campus and to the rest of the FISABIO centers in the province of Valencia. In 2019 it was expanded to include more health centers in Valencia and Alicante, and later in 2022 UniSalut was launched, grouping together three subprograms: Polisabio, Ujisabio and Ilisabio.<\/p>\n
