The “Safor Salu<\/a>t” cooperation program, a joint initiative between Campus Gandia of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia<\/a> (UPV<\/a>), FISABIO<\/a>–Gandia Department of Health<\/a>, FISABIO-<\/a>HACLE La Pedrera<\/a> and the Safor Federation of Business Associations (FAES)<\/a>, organized a co-creation lab<\/strong> on Thursday, May 26 at La Pedrera Hospital, focused on coordinating resources for transfer of care for patients the La Safor region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This challenge was put forward by the Gandia Health Department and HACLE La Pedrera in a creative lab held by the Safor Salut program in November last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The aim of this session was to develop the idea in cooperation with all the partners in the Safor Salut ecosystem, with the ultimate goal of generating innovative projects at a territorial level to improve the transition of patients from the hospital to the most appropriate destination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Representatives from Fisabio, Campus Gandia (UPV), the Safor Federation of Business Associations (FAES), the Spanish Cancer Association, the Espurna Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Family Organization of the Safor (AFA La Safor), the Association of Municipalities of La Safor, the Gandia City Council, the La Pedrera Hospital and the Gandia Health Department.<\/p>\n

INNOVATION AND HEALTHCARE CHALLENGES<\/p>\n

The co-creation labs are especially focused on cases that require the participation of other institutions to develop ideas or challenges<\/strong>. These labs bring together people with different profiles to analyze situations, generating divergence, proposing ways to take part in the development and different possible solution that ultimately define the collaborative research or innovation project.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, this year<\/strong> the team at Safor Salut plans to carry out innovation pills and more co-creation workshops that will involve all the agents involved in the Safor Salut environment.<\/p>\n
