Aquest \u00e9s l&#8217;objectiu de SAPHELY, un projecte europeu finan\u00e7at pel programa Horitz\u00f3 2020 de la UE i que est\u00e0 liderat per un investigador del Campus de Gandia,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/pls\/oalu\/sic_per.info_persona?PE=78mSD%2FYIsThlaTNzG%2B6fbU1Ifx%2BR%2FuudqkjVHNvfnXZF5qfM5p60C3aFOtRc0p0zWtLl5zFDCb5oD0wvUzsh3x4101TRxjz0xIXlJ9DIwraW0lw5sW9xOw%3D%3D&amp;P_TIPOBUS=0&amp;P_VISTA=&amp;P_IDIOMA=v\" target=\"_blank\">Jaime Garc\u00eda Rup\u00e9rez<\/a>, junt amb altres investigadors que pertanyen al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntc.upv.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Centre de Tecnologia Nanofot\u00f2nica de la UPV<\/a>. Autor il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3: Ovidio Miguel Maestro Sell\u00e9s<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El dispositiu proposat en SAPHELY, basat en tecnologia nanofot\u00f2nica, permetr\u00e0 una identificaci\u00f3 r\u00e0pida i ultra-sensible de biomarcadors basats en microRNA, la desregulaci\u00f3 dels quals ha sigut relacionada amb una gran quantitat de malalties. \u201cLa principal novetat d&#8217;aquest equip radicar\u00e0 en la combinaci\u00f3 de tecnologia nanofot\u00f2nica de sensat i d&#8217;un nou sistema de reconeixement d&#8217;aquests biomarcadors microRNA que permetr\u00e0 amplificar l&#8217;efecte d&#8217;aquesta interacci\u00f3. A\u00e7\u00f2 proporcionar\u00e0 una sensibilitat extremadament elevada, que no s&#8217;obt\u00e9 amb els sistemes de diagn\u00f2stic actuals\u201d, destaca Jaime Garc\u00eda, investigador del Centre de Tecnologia Nanofot\u00f2nica de la UPV i coordinador del projecte.<\/p>\n<p>La t\u00e8cnica de sensat podria ser implementada a m\u00e9s d&#8217;una forma m\u00e9s senzilla que altres utilitzades actualment, en les quals \u00e9s necessari dur a terme complexos processos de preparaci\u00f3 de mostra o de marcat per a obtenir sensibilitats tan altes. Segons apunten des del NTC, a\u00e7\u00f2 es traduir\u00e0 en la possibilitat d&#8217;obtenir dispositius molt compactes, lleugers i de baix cost -s&#8217;estima un cost inicial del dispositiu de lectura per sota dels 3.000\u20ac.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;aquesta manera, SAPHELY permetria la implementaci\u00f3 de programes d\u2019screening massiu, en els quals tota la poblaci\u00f3 de risc d&#8217;una determinada malaltia puga ser analitzada d&#8217;una forma r\u00e0pida i senzilla. \u201cAjudaria a diagnosticar la patologia abans que es presentara cap s\u00edmptoma rellevant, la qual cosa tindria un gran impacte en la qualitat de vida dels ciutadans i suposaria una enorme reducci\u00f3 dels costos assumits pels sistemes de salut\u201d, apunta Jaime Garc\u00eda, professor del Campus de Gandia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Altres aplicacions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El dispositiu podria aplicar-se tamb\u00e9 al diagn\u00f2stic d&#8217;una gran quantitat de malalties que tinguen una desregulaci\u00f3 de determinats biomarcadors microRNA.
