Al mateix temps, contribueix a millorar el benestar animal i a reduir el consum d&#8217;aigua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquest sistema es basa en el creixement de comunitats microbianes en l&#8217;aigua de cultiu, capa\u00e7os de convertir les deixalles nitrogenades, produ\u00efdes per peixos i gambetes, en biomassa aprofitable. D&#8217;aquesta manera, a m\u00e9s de disminuir la necessitat de renovaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aigua, el Biofloc aporta prote\u00efna addicional, la qual cosa millora la sostenibilitat i l&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia productiva. Aix\u00ed mateix, aquests microorganismes poden colonitzar el tracte intestinal dels animals, actuant com a probi\u00f2tics i prebi\u00f2tics i afavorint-ne la salut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"664\" height=\"500\" data-id=\"26415\" src=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Piscina-664x500.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Piscina-664x500.webp 664w, https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Piscina-332x250.webp 332w, https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Piscina-768x579.webp 768w, https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Piscina-1536x1157.webp 1536w, https:\/\/cienciagandia.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Piscina-2048x1543.webp 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 664px) 100vw, 664px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durant 5 anys, els equips d&#8217;Aq\u00fcicultura&nbsp; i Biodiversitat (GAB) del Campus de Vera de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia i el Campus de Gandia (UPV), han estat investigant en la producci\u00f3 d&#8217;esp\u00e8cies aq\u00fc\u00edcoles mitjan\u00e7ant tecnologia Biofloc aconseguint resultats significatius que apunten cap a una aq\u00fcicultura sostenible i de residu zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despr\u00e9s de m\u00e9s de 10 projectes d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 desenvolupats entre el Campus de Gandia i el de Vera de la <em>UPV<\/em> per a estudiar aquesta tecnologia i la seua possible implementaci\u00f3 a Europa, actualment s&#8217;est\u00e0 duent a terme el projecte estatal <strong>Zerofloc<\/strong> (PID2023-149570OB-I00) liderat pel David S\u00e1nchez i Ana Tom\u00e1s. Aquest projecte t\u00e9 com a objectiu analitzar l&#8217;\u00fas de sistemes multi tr\u00f2fics per a la producci\u00f3 d&#8217;individus de diferents nivells tr\u00f2fics. Aquesta estrat\u00e8gia <strong>permet reciclar els residus d&#8217;una esp\u00e8cie per a alimentar a una altra<\/strong>, augmentant la sostenibilitat, reduint l&#8217;impacte ambiental i diversificant les esp\u00e8cies produ\u00efdes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actualment, sota la codirecci\u00f3 de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/ficha-personal\/mrodilla\">Miguel Rodilla<\/a>, s&#8217;estan desenvolupant tres experiments al Campus de Gandia associats a aquest projecte. Aquesta iniciativa reuneix nou organitzacions p\u00fabliques i privades per a la formaci\u00f3 d&#8217;11 doctorands en l&#8217;estudi <strong>&nbsp;i la implantaci\u00f3 de la tecnologia Biofloc a Europa<\/strong>. En aquest context, la UPV actua com a instituci\u00f3 l\u00edder del consorci, sent David S\u00e1nchez, membre del grup d&#8217;aq\u00fcicultura i biodiversitat de la UPV, el coordinador del projecte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Els equips del Campus de Vera i Gandia treballaran els pr\u00f2xims 3 anys en l&#8217;optimitzaci\u00f3 <strong>de dietes per a gambeta<\/strong>, incloent-hi la substituci\u00f3 de la farina de peix per prote\u00efnes alternatives, amb l&#8217;objectiu de reduir la seua demanda i millorar-ne la sostenibilitat. Aix\u00ed mateix, s&#8217;estudiar\u00e0 la inclusi\u00f3 de compostos bioactius i el desenvolupament d&#8217;estrat\u00e8gies d&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s eficients per a millorar la producci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A m\u00e9s, es dur\u00e0 a terme una l\u00ednia d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 enfocada en la <strong>reducci\u00f3 de la petjada de carboni mitjan\u00e7ant la tecnologia Biofloc<\/strong>, a trav\u00e9s de la reutilitzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aigua i el reciclatge de residus.
